and a world leader in the development of fire alarm testing products announces today that in January 2004 it will introduce a new line of detector test equipment designed for the professional fire alarm service and maintenance technician. This unique series of equipment will be launched under the Versa-Tools™ brand.

The Versa-Tools™ series of detector test equipment offers the alarm professional quality, reliability, versatility and functionality while being priced as the industry’s ‘best value’. The Versa-Tools™ series includes: Versa-Test™ Aerosol Dispenser, Versa-Pole™ 16ft Telescoping Fiberglass Test Pole and optional Versa-Pole™ 4ft extensions.

According to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the International Fire Code, all commercial fire alarms are required to be functionally tested at least annually to ensure that the installed alarms are working properly.
